Your eyes are like magnets as they search mine in a crowd. You compel me to answer that look and when our eyes meet, the crowd blurs into a muted background. It was like time stopped until one of us looks away.
What's in store?

Thoughts # 26
No matter how much we act strong, carry ourselves as if we don’t need anybody. We always want to be saved, taken care of by that one particular, special person.

Kodamas in their natural habitat! 😊☀️🌲🌱 Had fun taking picture of these tiny and sneaky creatures! The day was so hot and sweat was trickling from my neck to my back but I ignored it just so I can take good shots with them. Totally worth the effort. 😁 To more practice shots with different subjects!

People keep saying we should embrace individuality but once we voice out our unorthodox brand of fulfillment, they frown upon it.

Red
Cherry, the color of blood
Ruby, vibrant and alive
Copper, soaking on the walls
Flaming, burning passion between two people
Scarlet, stop, pause, record
Cardinal, color so rich, it can’t help being noticed,
Glowing, hot as anger
Crimson, a love so strong, it begs to be felt
Puce, pain and damage
I see red when I think of you. Can’t you see all the paradox you make me feel?

Thoughts # 24
I long for the day when someone will look into my eyes & see the depths. See them & not be confused. See them & not fear. Look into them & appreciate the dancing thoughts in my soul. The dark abyss of terrors & the sparkling air of blue skies & sweet scented meadows. Oh when will that day come?

"At that moment it was clearer to me than ever that a thousand books on the art of loving add nothing to a simple kiss, nor a thousand speeches on love to a single affectionate gesture."

Thoughts # 23
I stare at the gloomy clouds... its dark & foreboding underbellies reminding me of all the wrong decisions I made. The wisps curling & sluggishly moving towards a destination I have no part. My spirit joining the clouds the moment you broke my heart.

So I happy I finally got new specs! Clearer lens and better vision with frames that suit me! For the first time, I'm looking forward to wearing specs! For the first time, I really love my frames. :D No awkward nerdy feeling, just kawaii nerdy feels! XD

March 2017 Photo-A-Day Challenge Day 21 - Sweet
This local muffin called torta brings back memories of my first and only (so far) visit to Bohol where my mother was born. I was 2nd year HS then and we stayed with her cousin/uncle's compound. They served torta for snacks. It was my first time eating them and I haven't eaten another until now. Wew almost 11 years since my last torta! How nostalgic. :">

March 2017 Photo-A-Day Challenge Day 12 - Wrinkled
So proud of my mom's work-worn hands. Her hands that cooked tasty meals and baked goodies. In turn she sparked in me an interest in baking and now I'm baking like her! I'm so glad she inspired me to bake so in the future I can bake goodies for my children.
I remember the days when I would look forward to mom's baking, the waft of warm cake/cookies travelling its way into the living room. Those days of pleasant weekends spent with mama creating magic with her hands. I want my children to feel what I feel whenever mama bakes sweets for us. :">

March 2017 Photo-A-Day Challenge Day 5 - Lines
I'm not much of a planning type of person but I like keeping track of things even though my life is not really eventful. Ehehehe (ㆁωㆁ*) It makes me feel in control and I wouldn't want to miss the deadline for bills payment. That would be terrible! (。>﹏<。) I've been quite lazy in updating it lately so I keep reminding myself to update it religiously. My journal, too. 'ㅅ'

March 2017 Photo-A-Day Challenge Day 4 - Deep
Out of all the books (excluding e-books) I own, I chose these three to be deep.
The Chronicles of Narnia may fall under children's literature but the symbolism and meanings blatantly portrayed or tucked in nooks & crevices in the story are deep and hinged upon Biblical references. Aslan's sacrifices and actions mirror that of Jesus Christ especially towards the end where they.... secret! I will not spoil. Better finish the whole series. Don't rely on movies because there are lots of missing pieces there but it's good to watch them 'cause one can compare how one imagined them with how the producers imagined the story.
The Dark is Rising is, I believe, teen fiction. I read this when I was in grade school & I was so confused. I understand what happened now but the scenarios are really difficult to imagine! Probably because of all the "time traveling" they did & the Old Ones existing in the past, present, and future. When I try to remember now, it's kind of a muddle. Overall, I find this story deep and quite difficult to understand especially in the emotional aspect. Loose threads everywhere and the reader is left to speculate on the decisions of the protagonists & how they will eventually lead their lives.
This is pretty presumptuous of me but I haven't read The Return of the Young Prince yet but if it is anything close to the first book, The Little Prince, then I am already expecting it to be deep. (ㆁωㆁ*)

Use objects as objects & treat
people as persons. Don't mix them up. Never. It's often the case nowadays &
it's the cause of many heartaches.

March 2, 2017
This is by far my favorite blanket because it's light blue and edged with snowflake patterns! Makes me feel like a snow princess. (ㆁωㆁ*)
Most of all, it's one of my sister's last gifts before her family migrated to Australia so it has great sentimental value. ٩(˘◡˘)۶

This is for day 1 which is supposed to be March 1, however, I became aware of the challenge too late thus I took this photo on March 2 with the theme 'weather' to make up for day 1.

Look
at her… I mean really look at her when she talks about things she is passionate
about. The things she burns for. You’ll see how brightly she shines.
